Now that the release date for our new record is less than a month away we would like to introduce you to a few of the characters featured in the songs and/or depicted on the cover.

Meet John and Sue. When we first created the opening song, “Pleased To Meet You”, John had recently turned 1 and was just learning to walk. Since then he has moved on to bigger and better things and now prefers to be called “Juanito”. His sister Sue, 18 months his senior, was once notorious for her obsession with the color pink. She now claims that her favorite color is lime green but that is likely to change.

Meet the Troll

Although his birth certificate lists him as “Alastair Clarke”, he has been known since early childhood as simply “The Troll”. He blames his inability to fit into proper society on having been a human born in the forest and raised by trolls. However, he is actually an orphaned troll that a human family graciously attempted to raise. They did their best.

 Meet Mary the Fairy

One of the few known existing images of Mary was captured with a Kodak Instamatic camera in the mid 1970’s and this image is based on that small grainy photograph. If you listen to the song “Mary the Fairy” you can learn about her reluctance to fly and the incident that ultimately motivated her to get off the ground.

         Meet Sheldon and Theodore

At almost 300 years of age, Sheldon is surely one of the oldest creatures still wandering around the world. And he has quite a few stories to tell. However, although he can vividly recall having seen the young Mozart on tour with his father Leopold in 1762, his recollections of the past 100 years are a bit sketchy and confused. Theodore is a Greek Tortoise (no relation to Sheldon) currently living on a farm in New Jersey. He enjoys listening to The Ramones at maximum volume while banging his head against the glass walls of his terrarium.

John the Rabbit, featured on the album “Rise & Shine” appears on this record relentlessly tormenting the Eggplant Man with his habitual snacking on the old man’s vegetables. But he has come to terms with his former nemesis and together the pair now cultivate a community garden. The Eggplant Man adamantly insisted that no images of him be reproduced in any form whatsoever and for now we will respect his wishes. But I have to tell you he is one strange looking dude.

Shirley, Ruth and Alana are sisters equally dissatisfied with their lot in life yet always eager to share their knowledge and worldview with others.

  Meet Wolfsohn

Wolfsohn is an ultra-successful hedge fund manager currently living primarily in Connecticut, East Hampton and NYC. His estimated net worth is so vast that if he ever stopped to count it he would be unable to maintain his extensive collection of exotic wool garments acquired from every corner of the globe. His only regret in life is the fact that he wasn’t born a sheep.
