NEW ALBUM RELEASE
Nice Mibblio mention on Cool Mom Tech
Mibblio, an awesomely interactive music app for kids, would be pretty terrific even if it only played generic nursery rhymes. But given that it also features music from some of our favorite names in kindie music, like Dan Zanes, Recess Monkey, The Pop Ups, Lucky Diaz, Key Wilde & Mr. Clarke, and many others, it’s even more engaging and fun for kids–and also for their parents who may be listening nearby. “PLEASED TO MEET YOU” TOPS ZOOGLOBBLE LIST OF BEST FAMILY ALBUMS FOR 2013
We actually shared the top honor on the premier family music blog with the album Recess by Justin Roberts. And that’s pretty good company. Justin’s record has been nominated for a Grammy and will hopefully bring home the long deserved reward.

Our song “Bigga Bagga” was also included in the Zooglobble Top 25 Songs of 2013 list.

More Bears
Earlier this year the Woodlands Wildlife Refuge asked Key Wilde to compose an original song about the eight species of bears for the “Advancing Bear Care 2013” Conference held in Clinton, NJ this past weekend. Key Wilde & Mr Clarke performed the song for a group of conferees attending an event at Woodlands on Saturday. You can listen to a rough demo recording of the Bear Song here.

This is an odd, unique (and rare) version of our song Animal Alphabet. In order to fit into the diatonic structure, the B and F# chords were changed to minor chords. Very strange sounding to us but if you’ve never heard the song before you might not even notice.
MORE CHARACTERS
Old Mrs. Brumlow taught English Grammar in the Scrapton Public Schools for over 150 years before retiring to a small country estate where she now enjoys cultivating a lovely vegetable garden. As recounted in the tale “A Memorable Day For Pepito”, she once taught the little squirrel Pepito a valuable lesson that he is not likely to soon forget.
Ralph lives in the attic and enjoys sorting trash for recycling and tinkering with electrical wires.
Mac lives in the bedroom closet and enjoys trying on new clothes in front of a full-length funhouse mirror.
Agent Orange likes to pretend that he is an international secret agent. He has a deep fondness for all things citrus and is always seen with at least three oranges in his mouth. This, unfortunately, makes him easily identifiable and not a particularly good candidate for undercover assignments.
This is Spike. Spike spends a good part of each day devoted to hair grooming and maintenance. Don’t even think about touching his head. Ever. His favorite radio program is Greasy Kids Stuff
Every June Blackjack visits the “Leader of the Pack” grooming facility for his annual trim and his overall body mass is reduced by 85%. His favorite Kindie performer is Dan Zanes.
Several years ago Lady Jane was discovered alone and frightened in an Atlantic City hotel room suffering from complete memory loss. Since then she has lived happily at Woodlands Wildlife Refuge and helps coordinate their education programs.
